FIRST weeks of 8TH GRADE

Coming back to school was good and bad. Good because I get to see and talk to my friends again but bad because I can’t play Xbox all day. One good thing about the people here most of the middle school knows each other or has been here before so not many people are as shy and there are lots of conversations between the students unlike last year when there was less because not everyone knew each other.

Already in the year I have learned quite a lot of things mostly in history/social studies about the civil war. I will most likely learn more things because we are doing a project on the civil war. Mr. Canon so far is a good history teacher because instead of just teaching because he has to he looks like he is really interested in history itself so he enjoys his work, along with him enjoying his work there is also flags along the roof of the classroom. Mr. canon and Mrs. Elsbury ward are the only teachers I've seen decorate their room so nice. This year my favorite classes are probably ELA, social studies and CTE. This year’s rules should make everything a lot nicer.  Things I was excited for this year were: digital art, coding, 3d modeling, and the Chromebooks. The reason I am excited about the Chromebooks is mainly because they are just a lot nicer than most computers because they can fold, they have a pen for drawing, they load stuff faster than the previous computers and they have chrome canvas .That's what I am excited for this year I think this year could probably be the best year I've had at Dahlgren.
