Anchored 4 Life is a peer-to-peer club that provides opportunities for students to enhance social skills, learn leadership skills, build character, improve self-esteem, and integrate into their community.

Please join the Principal, Glynis Riccio each month beginning at 11:30 in room 134. Everyone is welcome to come and have coffee with the principal and talk about your celebrations or concerns for your kudos!

1st-3rd Grade Reading Club focus is to encourage students to read a variety of rich literature and to increase their literacy skills

We will be working on core foundations of running to help students become better runners. We will be using an app called marathon runners to keep track of their distances. The students will earn monthly and distance charms throughout the year along with a special challenge during our winter break. If you would like to be invited to view or help your students to track distance or come out a couple times this year, please email Cassandra.cable@dodea.edu your email to be invited.

Plunge into the world of robotics with SeaPerch! SeaPerch is an innovative robotics program that equips students, educators, and parents with the resources they need to build an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) in out of school setting. At RoboNation we like to say, “Build a bot. Change the world.” As an integrated STEM education program SeaPerch is a great place to start on your journey to build a bot and learn how to use that bot for good. Welcome to the start of your journey.

The Dahlgren School spelling bee helps students improve their spelling and increase their vocabulary. Our school sends a representative to the Free Lance-Star Regional Bee in support of the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Student Council is a service organization functioning as a representative government composed of elected officers, classroom representatives and committees.

For grades 4-8; Tennis Club will increase physical activity by making it fun and personally rewarding. Students will understand and improve components of fitness: body composition, flexibility, muscle strength/endurance, cardiovascular endurance, along with tennis skills. This club aims to develop and improve physical and tennis skills while also developing mental alertness and sportsmanship. There will be leadership opportunities possible.

Students will participate in every aspect of creating the Dahlgren School Yearbook including taking pictures, uploading pictures, designing pages, choosing the cover design, deciding the layout and much, much more.
