My first few weeks as an 8th-grader

It's almost been a whole month of school! Time flies by fast but I'm making the most of it at Dahlgren school. My experience here is like no other. The teachers  and my classmates are such a joy to be around daily; they help, make things easier for me, and are nice. Everyone follows the rules here. For my classes, I take Science, History, Ela, CTE, and Math. 

My favorite class is Ela. Mrs. Elsbury-Ward is a great teacher. She doesn't put any pressure on you, her room makes me feel at home it's very peaceful in there she has a lot of tools to help me learn. I'm excited to start going home for lunch. Going home for lunch can give me time to think and talk to my parents. Gym class is really fun. I like going on walks and getting fresh air.
