Well This Is Gonna Be Fun, I Guess.

First weeks of school, in 8th grade, great right? Last grade of middle school before you hit High School. But what is there to talk about for now? Well, most of the teachers are the same. So I guess it’s easy to get settled in since I already know most of them, except for the Social studies teacher, got a new one. He’s nice… there’s not much to say about him. The classes are decent, I  mean it’s the beginning of the school year they can’t be that bad right?

The people here, the same again. Everyone in 8th grade has been here before, I’ve been in classes with them before. So what do I have to say about friendships? Uh well, I’m still friends with the same people, nothing really new. And what I’ve learned already, in math we’re learning about Geometry. Things like translations, conjectures, and rotations. Stuff like that really. In Science we’re learning about the cycle of life, or well how organisms decompose. In History/Social studies We talk about how life was after the civil war, like how the economy, society, and politics were back then. And in ELA, there’s not much to say but we did read a story called a “tell-Tale heart” where the narrator was a little insane and had hurt an old man because of his ‘Valcon eye’. And afterwards confessed from the amount of guilt that flooded him afterwards, I enjoyed it.

I don’t have much to say about my classes except that they’re all kinda chill. Nothing too exciting yet, again it’s the beginning of the year so I don’t expect much. The school rules got somewhat more confusing than last year. Some I personally don’t agree with but it’s really whatever, school is school I guess. Favorite Classes so far? CTE, it’s the one with the most freewill. Plus being able to listen to music while doing work usually works on me, I seriously cannot work without it. Plus it has digital art, I’m so biased when it comes to this class just for that.

I mean I like that we get to bring our Chromebooks home so there’s not such a giant struggle trying to find something to log onto at home to do homework, that’s nice. And plus I draw on my computer from it  being able to provide a pen, so that’s another plus from me. And lastly what am I excited for? Well, after school clubs, Events, and other things. I don’t know what to expect from 8th grade. All I know is that I’m one more year away from High school so, wishing myself luck. Hoping I won’t bomb this grade.
